I am the type of person who rarely (never) cooks so doing a cooking tour was definitely out of my comfort zone. All my friends laughed at me going on a “cooking tour”. Well I was so happy that I did it. It was so much fun, the people who run the tour and the people on the tour were amazing. We had so much fun, cooking, eating, drinking, seeing the sights. I am lucky enough to have many holidays per year. Generally, I have a holiday once a month, some internationally, some locally and out of all my holidays I have done in my life, this would be up there in the top few. I did this holiday with a friend and I had so much fun I'm going to do the exact same tour next year this time with my wife. I cannot highly recommend CDV enough. This was a real personal tour, like nothing I've done before, getting to see the real Italian people, the real Italian lifestyle. Not staying at hotels, not eating at the restaurant every night. We stayed in a Italian villa that Italians have lived in for years, we got to eat in people's houses, we got to meet that great Italian Nona. If looking for a holiday to experience the true Italian life, this is it.
